JOB SUMMARY:  The WFM CoE Strategy & Optimization Operations Specialist leads strategic planning, portfolio management, and project delivery for the WFM function. The WFM CoE Strategy & Optimization Operations Specialists also plays a key role in aligning key stakeholders, managing dependencies and risks, and delivering value to the WFM function and Securitas.

  • Partner with the WFM Leadership Team to establish an integrated short-term and long-term WFM vision and strategy that aligns with overall business priorities and goals
  • Drive collaboration to evaluate and prioritize WFM opportunities against the WFM strategy, mid-term and annual planning and budget, and roadmap and provide progress of WFM initiatives to leaders
  • Define the scope and strategy to drive WFM innovation and design improvements to WFM programs, processes, and tools
  • Manage and own the end-to-end WFM process
  • Manage budget, resourcing, planning and implementation of WFM initiatives / projects to deliver on WFM priorities
  • Drive business case development for new WFM opportunities and investments
  • Determine internal and external communications strategy and plan for WFM
  • Develop and manage the mid-term and annual planning process, portfolio management and reporting, and governance for the WFM function
  • Provide support on key leadership alignment activities including, but not limited to, leadership meetings, executive retreats, board of director meetings, and executive governance sessions
  • Must ensure project planning adheres to Securitas guidelines and best practices

Job Requirements


Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.


  • Five years of experience in corporate planning, business and financial analysis, and / or equivalent strategic planning experience required
  • Process design and optimization proven experience and results
  • Experience monitoring value metrics to inform decisions that maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs
  • Experience with portfolio resource planning, reporting, prioritization and budgeting a plus
  • Experience leading projects and programs within cross-functional business units, as well as projects and programs that involved external providers required, additional previous direct leadership experience a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or equivalent combination of training and experience, MBA preferred

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

  • Must have proficient knowledge of strategic and financial analysis
  • Must have proven analytical and quantitative skills; experience with spreadsheets or other quantitative modeling
  • Ability to understand corporate financial analysis and financial statements
  • Conduct performance analyses on existing strategies, procedures and policies to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable and sustainable solutions where needed
  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
