JOB SUMMARY:
This role serves as lead facilitator for department planning and decision making and is responsible for the PMO and Finance functions. Develops, analyzes and manages the Divisional IT annual operating budget; develops and writes justification for budget requests; coordinates and leads department planning efforts. Consults regularly with CIO and management, as needed for direction, advice and collaboration or intervention in departmental matters to help to ensure the smooth functioning of our organization.

The VP, IT Business Management will be a business, process, and technology minded leader with proven expertise in IT governance, financial management, continuous process improvement and project management office, including a service-first-oriented approach in establishing a business focused and performance driven IT culture. The VP is expected to closely partner with other members of Finance, IT, and operations in nurturing and growing a continuous improvement culture while being focused on delivering exceptional user experience across all service portfolios. Responsible to lead and consult around the development and execution of annual operating plan, IT governance roadmap, financial management of operational and capital expenditures and coordinate sourcing management across IT. As a member of the IT senior leadership team, the role will contribute to the development and execution of the enterprise wide technology strategy, and ensure it aligns with the company’s strategy.

Direct Support of the CIO:
•    Coordinates and serves as principal source of information on established IT policies, projects, administrative systems, and procedures.
•    Provides thought leadership in IT planning, operations, and efficiency improvements.
•    Acts as a delegate representative for the CIO. Manage priorities, discussions and opportunities where decision and authority are most needed.
•    Serves as a point of contact for escalations, resource concerns, project collisions and group dynamics.
•    Manages internal communications, newsletters, reports and presentations.
•    Organizes conferences and other special events, including preparation and follow up. Coordinates meeting agendas for approval.
•    Responsible and accountable for developing an annual operating plan for IT that will meet current and future business goals.
•    Works with IT teams to set strategic priorities, help identify areas of focus as well as metrics for success. Evaluate progress of set metrics.
•    Identifies and prioritizes improvement opportunities, and proposes the creation of new systems and processes to streamline operations.
•    Helps determine key performance indicators and update dashboards as needed.
Finance Functions:
•    Assists in planning and managing the Divisional and Global IT budgets. Analyzes and makes recommendations on expenditures towards a defined budget or project. Produces budget and performance reports.
•    Leads the financial reporting, forecasting and optimization of technology spend by collaborating with senior IT leaders and in close partnership with Finance leaders.
PMO Functions:
•    Oversees large, cross-functional, organization-wide projects or initiatives.
•    Provides strategic, executive leadership, and direction to Program Management function. Develops and ensures adherence to PMO policies, processes, procedures, resources and tools.
•    Facilitates project management structure and governance across all parties involved. Communicates status updates, maintains documentation, provides information, research, statistics, and analysis.
•    Manage multiple working groups, SMEs and senior stakeholders, including capturing feedback and input, presenting regular updates, raising key risks, and helping to drive decisions.
Talent Management:
•    Oversee a high performing team of project managers and analysts and as well as attracting, developing and retaining talent.
•    Partner with HR to assist with the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process of leadership and staff roles.
•    May assist in training, coaching, and delegating work to other staff members, seasonal and temporary workers.
•    Assist with coordinating quarterly and annual reviews with direct staff.
•    Aligns the direction of IT to meet company goals and objectives, by accomplishing additional related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience:
•    Bachelor degree (BA/BS) required
•    10+ years of experience in Information Technology roles and 5+ years in IT leadership roles
•    Experience working within IT environment for a large global company (as employee or consultant)
•    5+ years of experience managing budgets/finance and program management for a large company

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
•    Strong project, program and portfolio management, organizational, planning and coordination skills
•    Financial planning and analysis and or a Finance background or exposure
•    Experience managing complex budgets, analytics, forecasting, and other financials
•    Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite
•    Interpersonal savvy. Relates openly with diverse groups. Able to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
•    Communicates effectively
•    Manages complexity with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•    Nimble learner. Learns quickly when facing new situations and experiments to find new solutions.
•    Action oriented, taking new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
