JOB SUMMARY:

Provide web-based and/or video presentation based training to end users in effective use of Securitas propriety systems and commercial software and hardware packages. Provide video presentations to existing and potential clients on the value and benefits of Securitas propriety systems. Provide user support to field offices; resolves/assists in resolving system and technical questions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Web based and/or video presentation based training to end users on commercial and proprietary software including Platform training, phone support and direct help onsite in field offices 
  2. Provide video presentations to existing and potential clients on the benefits of Securitas propriety systems
  3. Analyze field office processes to identify more efficient operational procedures and better utilization of new systems
  4. Interprets/translates needs and issues between the field offices and operating centers
  5. Create training documentation. End User Manuals, Web-Based training documentation, PowerPoint presentations
  6. Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assignment. 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field, and a minimum of two years progressively responsible business experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
  • Minimum one year experience in training or teaching.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems, particularly Microsoft  Office suite or equivalent.

Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.
  • Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Manual / Physical Work: Packing, Shipping, Setting up Training Equipment, Computer setup. 
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
  • Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Computer usage.
  • Regular talking and hearing.
  • Directing, motivating, training, and coaching staff in a positive manner.
  • Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be available for after-hours support approximately 1 out of every 4 weeks (24 x 7).
