JOB SUMMARY:  
Analyzes financial data and other operating information to assist the Workforce Management CoE in assisting finance in data accuracies related to accruals, revenue and cost.  Provides oversight of WFM data being sent to financial system from timekeeping software related to accruals, revenue and cost. Develops reports and assists in data validation between WFM and Finance. Conducts studies and develops recommendations.

• Participates in the development of accrual, revenue and cost reviews between WFM CoE and Finance CoE. 

• Reports, analyzes, and interprets financial and operating data for management, including cost analysis, market niche reporting, profitability analysis, wage analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis as directed.

• Provides in-depth analysis and interpretation of financial data to monitor and report on progress of the WFM CoE and its profit centers compared to business plan targets.

• Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses. Identifies and communicates loss trends.

• Assists in the development of WFM CoE reporting requirements and metrics, and in the design and development of workflow processes.

• Reviews general ledger (GL), validates accounting entries where required and performs reconciliations on an as-needed basis. 

• Generates and distributes system reports and assists management in their utilization; may oversee or assist with information systems projects and/or ongoing operations.

• Analyzes operations, conducts audits, and recommends business solutions to management.

• Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assignment. 



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, and one year of experience in financial analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.  Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• Skill in the use financial systems and standard office productivity software.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in research and financial analysis with ability to report data.
• Knowledge of General Ledger Accounting
• Exceptional planning, organizing, record maintenance, and project management skills.
• Skill in analyzing, modeling, and synthesizing a variety of data and developing solutions
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Ability to be an effective member of and lead project teams.
• Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
• Skill in clear and concise oral and written communication.
