JOB SUMMARY:   The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.  This position is responsible for providing analysis on various human resource systems and monitoring field compliance with Company policy and federal and state laws and making recommendations for improvements, where necessary.

•         Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.


•         Responsible for monitoring Form I-9/E-Verify compliance for the company to ensure all new hires are eligible to work in the United States in compliance with USCIS Form I-9 requirements.

•         Acts as Company expert and main resource on Form I-9/E-Verify compliance.

•         Maintains field compliance and generates and analyzes data related to background, drug screening, and FCRA compliance.

•         Makes recommendations to management regarding compliance improvements needed. 

•         Responsible for creating and co-presenting on HR Compliance trainings.

•         Meets with Manager and makes recommendations from analytical findings to improve overall compliance and compliance audit processes.

•         Performs additional functions, duties and tasks of a similar nature and scope as may be required by department management to achieve initiatives.

•         Assists with applicant tracking system compliance and functions.



Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years progressively responsible, related experience desired. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree may be considered. 

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

•         Human resources experience necessary.

•         Must be advanced user of MS Office (Excel preferred); In Excel, must have ability to create pivot tables, vlookups, and to create and use formulas.

•         Prior experience working with other HR systems required (HRIS, HMC, PeopleSoft).

•         Excellent organizational, problem solving and writing skills along with planning and project management skills.

•         Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.

•         Strong customer service skills desired.

•         Ability to develop rapport with all levels of human resources and management personnel.

•         Ability to be an effective team member.

•         Must be self directed and capable of meeting multiple deadlines.
