JOB SUMMARY: 

Global IT Sourcing (GITS) is the global function within Securitas Intelligent Services responsible for assuring purchasing of products and services with business acumen, cost effectiveness and business ethics. The unit, currently located in Sweden and Poland and headed by the Global IT Sourcing Director, is looking to strengthen the team with a US based Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM. The SSM will be primarily working within the IT categories, responsible for sourcing hardware, software, network & telecom (ICT), professional services and managed services on a global level. The role will require the ability to handle large and complex contracts as well as simpler Statements of Work from existing agreements and supplier governance.

• Lead, prepare and execute Request for Proposal processes and large as well as smaller negotiations.
• Responsible for Supplier Governance. Act as the Securitas representative towards suppliers, interfacing both internally and externally.
• Ensure supplier agreement implementation.
• Represent Securitas as an international world leading Company.
• Represent the GIT Sourcing function internally.
• Act as the internal stakeholder and specialist for subsets of suppliers.
• Analyze and identify spend and supplier related opportunities. 
• Report savings and results from sourcing activities.
• Continuously contribute to the development of the sourcing function, processes and ways of working.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
• The successful candidate will have genuine background within IT sourcing, preferably by working in a strategic role in an international context.
• 10+ years experience of IT related procurement, preferred
• Experience from the IT market by working with large and international software companies, software business models and software contracting.
• Experience running change management projects with multiple stakeholders, preferably cross-border.
• Experience with global matrix organizations.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 
A Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline and 10+ years of successful and progressively responsible IT procurement or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the Company.
