JOB SUMMARY: 
Performs detailed quality assurance testing and validation of all software configured, developed or modified by application teams before it’s distributed to Business Users.  Primary focus of testing will be internal and portal applications.

• Performs as a senior member of the QA Team.
• Consults with business and technical resources to understand functions and underlying technology required to test the business needs, objectives and desired features; as well as the input and output requirements in order to plan and execute testing.
• Responsible for leading and executing QA and User Acceptance Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
• Must have experience leading large scale test projects as well as defect reporting, estimation, and project planning.
• Must be experienced with respect to Audit controls and principles and be willing to help with process improvement.
• Experience creating a large project Test Plan, Test Execution Schedule, and Coordinating UAT activities with IT and Business Users
• Proficiency using Microsoft PC applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Experience creating application Reports and Queries and interpreting complex SQL Queries. 
• Experience and ability to use various Test Management tools (Azure DevOps, ALM, etc.).
• Able to write test scenarios based on requirements. 
• Experience with and understanding of positive and negative testing.  
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 
• Bachelors Degree and 3+ years related work experience or 5+ years equivalent experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Oracle, Peoplesoft or comparable Enterprise level Finance system experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with testing Finance, Billing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable on Web/portal Servers preferred.
• Experience with testing Java API (i.e. JDBC, JNDI), and non-Java API (i.e. AD, LDAP) supported applications is a plus.
• Experience with database query tools.
• Testing experience with HTML and a proven knowledge of Stateless Programming, Session Handling and Page Lifecycle is a plus.
• Experience with Security and Server Patch testing. 
• Understanding, experience and knowledge of Test Automation is a plus.
