Job Description

Analyzes training and technical needs related to the company’s information systems throughout assigned Region. Supports the Region President and Region management in planning and implementing technical projects for both new and existing systems and applications. Trains users in the operation of company systems. Provides user support to employees in field offices and at client sites. Performs upgrades and installations as needed. Serves as a liaison between the Region and shared services information technology functions. May assist Region Controller.

1. Analyzes training and technical needs related to the company’s information systems throughout the Region; conducts needs analysis to assess current status; identifies resource requirements; implements training programs and installations that meet identified business needs. 
2. Supports the Region President and Region management in planning and implementing technical projects for both new and existing systems and applications; meets with management to gain thorough understanding of business processes and technical requirements; recommends training, hardware, software and systems solutions as needed; assists in developing and tracking the Region’s information technology budget. 
3. Provides user support to employees in field offices and at client sites; responds to management needs and questions regarding the use of company systems and software; ensures that managers can make effective use of their technical environment and resources. 
4. Trains users in the operation of company systems; develops and adapts training curriculum; conducts training in a variety of settings and through a variety of media; prepares and implements training projects; assists in budgeting for training activities; cross-trains managers and designated employees to provide initial training in local offices and sites. 
5. Performs upgrades and installations as needed; updates operating systems and applications software as required; tracks equipment via asset tags and updates information when equipment is reassigned; performs other project duties as assigned. 
6. Serves as a liaison between the Region and shared services information technology functions; provides consultation with users and shared services staff as appropriate. 
7. Provides support for significant activities in Region, such as client presentations, professional development, office mergers and splits, and start-ups for acquisitions and new business. 
8. Measures and reports on key indicators of effective system usage; maintains database to track indicators and to develop plans to optimize utilization. 
9. Provides status reports on all ongoing projects to line and project managers as required. 
10. Remains abreast of changes in company systems; maintains current technical references for installed hardware and software; attends vendor seminars to learn about relevant changes in the information technology field. 
11. May act as an assistant to the Region Controller by assisting with reconciliation and cost analysis. 
12. Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assignment. 

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position. 

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone). 
• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). 
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States. 
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. 
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED. 
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. 

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and 2 years of progressively responsible, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Experience working with end users and in a high volume service company preferred.
