JOB SUMMARY:   Provides assistance to the legal department by performing a variety of office support functions.

  • In performing functions, duties or tasks, associates are required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations.  Associates are required to notify superiors upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions.
  • All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures.  In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, associates are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.

  • Handle and respond to subpoenas and interact with third party attorneys, outside counsel and field personnel
  • Assist outside counsel with discovery requests, coordinate employee witness issues
  • Assist with maintaining and implementing a SharePoint database for subpoenas.
  • Payroll/HR system usage – pull payroll records and information to assist with aforementioned subpoena and discovery requests
  • Risk management system (STARS) usage – efficiently input information, including summaries of litigation documents (including letters, discovery, etc.), into STARS
  • Analyze and summarize opinion letters and evidentiary summaries
  • Prepare summaries and spreadsheets
  • Provide administrative support for litigation function and legal department on an as needed basis

Job Requirements


Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.


  • 4-year college degree preferred; HS diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience required
  • Some experience in a legal setting preferred
  • SharePoint experience preferred
