JOB SUMMARY: Provides account based financial tracking and reporting (external and internal), develops financial forecasts, budgets and analyses of financial performance for the account globally. Assists Global Accounts Manager in achieving budgetary and financial objectives, internal profitability and the interpretation and analysis of financial data; provides reports on financial and performance measures on both a recurring and ad-hoc basis.

  1. Manages financial internal/external tracking and reporting; works with Global Account Manager for the development of the annual account forecast and budget; researches and reports financial data affecting account; provides monthly and ad-hoc reports regarding the financial performance of accounts.
  2. Monitors progress against business objectives throughout the year; provides analysis and interpretation of financial data to report on progress of the account to business plan targets; provides Global Account Manager and client with all necessary reports on the financial performance of the account.
  3. Validates accuracy of financial reports for the account.
  4. Develops forecasts of revenue and expenses based on current and projected conditions; prepares forecast reports and submits to Global Account Manager and client.
  5. Oversees and coordinates financial programs for funding/cost of new and continued operations in order to increase productivity and maximize profitability of account.
  6. Assists in the development and ongoing updating of global reporting network of financial information across account; including serving as a key point of contact/development of relationships with Securitas personnel globally.
  7. Provides reports as required on financial and performance measures; analyzes and interprets financial and operating data, including performance benchmark reporting, cost analyses, market niche reporting, profitability analyses, performance assessments, contract pricing analyses, wage analyses, and other reporting as required.
  8. Conducts meetings and training with internal and external representatives of invoicing systems, i.e. Ariba, and works with the invoicing supplier to receive, arrange and conduct training for Securitas field personnel that will need to utilize the third-party system.  This includes guidance on the establishment of Purchase Orders for each segment/country.
  9. Meets with and briefs the Global Account Manager and client representatives on the financial performance and reports for the account after the closing of each financial period.
  10. Maintains regular contact with the Global/National’s controller on issues that affect Global/National Accounts.  
  11. Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assignment.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, and a minimum of five years progressively responsible business experience involving financial management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. MBA and/or CPA preferred.  Military Veterans preferred.  Experience will be considered in lieu of, or in addition to, educational requirement.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands)
