JOB SUMMARY:

Provides strategic direction and progressive leadership within the Datacenter vertical market; responsible for establishing new and strengthening existing Datacenter client relationships with emphasis on vertical market specialization, client retention, organic growth of new and existing clients, and providing value-added services.  Additionally, focus should be given to developing Integrated Guarding security services, delivery of quality services, global services coordination, and effective operational and administrative management for Datacenter clients.

Datacenter Market Specialization

  1. Industry expert in the Datacenter vertical market; ability to develop security programs based on regulatory compliance and requirements of Datacenter companies; understands the client atmosphere where security operations will exist.  Implement specialized security services and programs that are specific to the Datacenter industry.
  2. Assist clients with protection of confidential and proprietary information; understand the importance of hosted as well as owned and operated Datacenter service environments; development of consistent procedures to support all aspects of the business.
  3. Understand the various global audit standards related to the Datacenter industry, as well as, international requirements for operations outside of the United States. 
  4. Understand the various global data privacy regulations affecting Datacenter operations.
  5. Advanced knowledge of electronic security systems (access control and video) including biometric authentication methods and products. 

Client Retention and Development

  1. Ensures the delivery of high-quality customer service through face to face and telephonic contact with global Datacenter vertical market clients; evaluates service quality and initiates corrective action as necessary, works closely with Country management teams to ensure service is consistently delivered across all sites. Establishes a strategic partnership with customers and provides specialized services specific to the Datacenter industry.
  2. Oversees and assists in the development of Datacenter client Key Performance Indicators (Scorecards) that improve performance for all Datacenter clients.  Shares KPI ideas with potential clients, current clients, and Securitas Account Managers
  3. Leads the creation, networking and implementation of global Datacenter best practices.  Identification, introduction and establishment of value-added services for the Datacenter vertical market that can be replicated across clients. 
  4. Evaluates and analyzes Datacenter vertical market business trends for potential impact and growth opportunities; demonstrates understanding and expertise in Datacenter vertical market security needs and service delivery.
  5. Coordinates with country sales teams on Datacenter business development priorities and key sales actions; assists clients in understanding full range of company products and specialized services; demonstrates understanding of contract terms and Datacenter risk factors.
  6. Prepares and presents RFI and RFP responses for clients and potential clients within Datacenter vertical market.  Assists with sales marketing efforts related to Datacenter customers.

  1. Ensures that Securitas Branch Managers maintain a consistent focus on high quality customer service; provides guidance and support in the retention of profitable business; reviews customer satisfaction surveys and assists in the development and implementation of corrective action where needed.
  2. Facilitates teamwork and the implementation of progressive change.
  3. Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; ensures that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
  4. Coordinates and develops global training programs for Datacenter officers.   
  5. Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives. 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of experience in a field related to the security industry and/or business management, and substantial, progressively responsible managerial experience in the security industry, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.  5 years of experience within the Datacenter industry.  Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation required and other professional designations desirable. Other certifications may be substituted for CPP on a case by case basis.  Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.

Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands
