We believe this creates opportunities for learning and advancement and an environment where we can do truly outstanding work.  Based out of our Operations Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, we are looking for a Director of Technology Services - Preventive Maintenance.  This newly created position will report to the VP Strategic Accounts and Service Development, Technology Solutions and requires a candidate that can demonstrate operational expertise, sales success and leadership. 

This position oversees all aspects of the preventive maintenance service products under the following three areas.


  • Manage the relationship with our sister company, Securitas Electronic Security on preventative and corrective maintenance services. 
  • Foster relationships with local, regional, and national service partners and subcontractors.
  • Own the responsibility for the work installation teams to develop appropriate handoff plans to reduce service issues.
  • Create and implement 90-day transition plans for vendors to repair or replace faulty equipment or installations.
  • Initiate, coordinate and assume responsibility for benchmarking and improving client initiatives.
  • Evaluate service quality through KPIs and direct necessary communication and/or corrective actions.
  • Develop a solutions dispatch center to the highest standards.   

Sales Process

  • Meet with clients and prospects to explain Securitas’s technology maintenance service capabilities.
  • Actively contribute to the successful closing of sales opportunities for key accounts.
  • Partner with Securitas’s managers and sales reps to understand and support their sales goals.
  • Become a partner in the pricing process.
  • Investigate lost opportunities.


  • Analyze operational and financial indicators to continuously improve account performance. 
  • Drive technology maintenance services sales to assure growth by hitting annual goals.
  • Champion new partnerships in areas that are not adequately served by current vendors.
  • Proactively share our new offerings, processes and marketing strategies. 
  • Provides leadership to direct reports, develops internal talent preparing others for roles of greater responsibility and models company values.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Functional knowledge and experience in three or more of the following areas: generating new revenue through sales, managing and/or selling electronic service technology, managing a services department, project management in the electronics field, managing the technology support process and customer service design and service process implementation. 
  • A minimum of five years of experience demonstrating this functional knowledge. 
  • A minimum of five years of management level leadership managing teams and technical professionals.
  • 25% travel.
