Performs a variety of contract-related tasks, independently as well as under the direction of the Company Legal Department and executive management.  Reviews, assesses, and provides support to field management on contract and business terms , including, but not limited to, client contracts, requests for proposal, vendor contracts and leases. Functions as a business partner with field management in assessing and negotiating client contracts.   


  • Review, assess and draft client and supplier contracts.
  • Partner with the key Company managers in negotiating contracts and performing business tasks.
  • Ensure compliance as regards to the company contracts approval policies.
  • Develop cooperative, productive relationships with key internal Company managers.
  • Develop cooperative, mutually beneficial relationships with key external customers and resources.
  • Provide helpful guidance to internal clients.
  • Stay current on relevant laws.
  • Actively promote technology solutions in the Contracts function. Assist with management of the Contracts Department as requested. Performing administrative tasks as needed.
  • Working closely with Legal Department and other departments within the company on special tasks and projects.

Job Requirements


Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.


  • Bachelors Degree from accredited college or university.
  • J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
  • Member, in good standing, of the New Jersey State Bar
  • 2 - 5 years related experience practicing law in a large law firm or as in-house counsel. Corporate law background and experience in negotiating and drafting contracts required.
