JOB SUMMARY

Operate equipment to print/produce company materials for distribution to branch offices. Pick up, sort, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail/materials as well as accurately ship and receive courier packages. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Additional duties may be assigned and functions modified, according to business needs.

  1. Print and process company documents including checks and invoices.
  2. Collect and distribute mail, courier packages, and other materials.
  3. Support weekend on-cycle processing of Payroll and Accounts Receivable, as schedule.
  4. Follow all quality control procedures so that the documents, packages, and materials being produced or distributed meet company and industry standards.
  5. Operate, maintain, and manage various mechanical equipment including high capacity printers, fold/stuff/insert machines, and postage scales and meters.
  6. Assist with special projects throughout the year.
  7. Work with vendors and departments to support various facility tasks.
  8. Assist in the ordering and receiving of record boxes as requested.
  9. Lift and distribute boxes that need to be stored or retrieved.
  10. Support the receiving, inventorying, packing, and shipping of company goods, supplies, or materials as directed.
  11. Dispense supplies in designated areas as directed.
  12. Pickup and/or deliver mail or packages to the US Post Office or alternate courier pickup location.
  13. Backup and assist Facilities as needed.
  14. Complete other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

  • Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience

  • H.S. Diploma/GED and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively is required.
  • Experience working in a mailroom environment is preferred.
  • Experience working in an administrative or customer service role is favorable.
  • A current driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing)

  • General knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Ability to satisfy and continuously satisfy the Securitas Security Services Driver Certification and Safe Driver Program requirements
  • Operational knowledge of basic office equipment including telephones, fax machines,  printers, and copiers
  • Familiarity with standard office procedures and practices
  • Mechanically inclined – must be able to work with electronic and mechanical equipment comfortably
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, without sacrificing accuracy (attention to detail)
  • Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently
  • Must be able to demonstrate that you are responsible, dependable and reliable
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Ability to be an effective team member and handle project assignments responsibly
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form

SCHEDULE

  • The individual is required to work a 35-hour work week but must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and additional hours, as needed. The regular schedule for this position includes Sundays.
